On the environmental front, Scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity per tonne of product decreased by 40% since 2023. In 2025, the wastewater recovery rate reached 59%, while the waste recovery rate remained at 99%. Recycled raw materials accounted for 30% of the materials used, and 81% of the chemicals used were certified.
On the social pillar, Riopele continues to focus on its people, fostering a more inclusive, balanced and development-oriented workplace. In 2025, employee satisfaction reached 3.06 on a scale of 4, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the well-being and development of its people.
In terms of governance, Riopele continues to strengthen a culture based on ethics, transparency and continuous improvement. In 2025, customer satisfaction reached 82.9%, 16 audits were carried out, and 63% of suppliers signed the company’s Code of Conduct. Recognition through the Created in Sustainability & Innovation Award further reinforces Riopele’s commitment to innovation and sustainable development.
According to Isabel Domingues, Riopele’s Sustainability Director: “The results for 2025 show that sustainability is built through consistency and concrete decisions. We have stayed on the course we set and made progress across most indicators, continuing a journey that is part of Riopele’s transformation. This report is also a reflection of that journey — and of what still lies ahead.”
