In the week before Christmas, on December 17th and 18th, Riopele's team of agents was at our company to watch the presentation of the Spring-Summer 20 fabrics collection.
On the first day, the usual sales meetings of the different markets were held. The next day, José Alexandre Oliveira, Chairman of Riopele, spoke about the company's activity in 2018 and then the Italian designer Giovanni Bonotto made a presentation on the framing of Riopele's SS20 collection, highlighting new social attitudes and new concepts, emphasizing the power of social networks and resorting to fashion brand initiatives and the activities of famous bloggers to set examples. After this intervention, the new fabrics were then shown.
The SS20 collection will be presented at trade fairs in the second week of January, in London, at The London Textile Fair. Still, in January, Riopele's proposals will be present in New York and Munich (at Circus NY and Munich Fabric Start, respectively). The Milano Unica fair follows in February and the highlight will be at the Paris fair - Première Vision. Then, in Porto, as usual, Riopele will participate in Modtíssimo and, finally, in March, SS20 fabrics will be released on the Japanese market, at Jitac, which takes place in Tokyo.
