iTechStyle Awards: Riopele Finalist

Riopele is one of the finalists of the next edition of the iTechStyle Awards, an initiative under the responsibility of CITEVE, integrated in Modtissimo.

Among dozens of submitted proposals, the jury selected, in the product category, a piece of clothing manufactured by Riopele. This garment was produced with functionalized fabric with a wellness finish by microencapsulation, and yarns made using rustic recycled raw material, based on waste generated in the textile industry.

The jury of this edition consists of José Morgado (Director of Engineering and Technology at CITEVE), Fernando Pereira (Department of Chemical Engineering at FEUP), Hélder Carvalho (Department of Textile Engineering at Minho University), Carla Silva (Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology at CITEVE), João Gomes (Chief Operations Officer at CeNTI), Ana Ribeiro (Portuguese Textile Cluster) and Pedro Guimarães (MODATEX).
