Riopele continues to invest in innovation and reinforce its commitment to sustainability, having recently obtained two additional certifications under the Oeko-Tex 100 standard.
These two new certifications apply to fabrics made from organic cotton fibres, further strengthening Riopele’s position in producing more responsible fabrics with the ambition of making fashion more sustainable.
This achievement represents another significant milestone in Riopele’s ongoing effort to preserve the planet, as well as ‘assuring customers that the products are manufactured to a high standard of quality and safety’, says the Director of Sustainability, adding that this is a journey we began around 30 years ago’.
‘The Oeko-Tex 100 certification is one of the most widely recognised worldwide, ensuring that certified textiles are free from harmful substances’, concludes Isabel Domingues.
